4 car crash on Route 57 leaves several injured

Alcohol is thought to have played a factor in a four car crash that occurred on July 5 at the intersection of Route 57 and Chestnut Ridge Road, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. At around 2:42 p.m. a 2007 Jeep Patriot driven by a 31-year woman from Cleveland was traveling eastbound on Chestnut Ridge Road when the woman blew through a red light at the intersection and was struck by a black 2006 Lincoln Mark LT truck that entered the street at the same time, police said.
